Day 1 - Welcome to Boston
We invite you to meet the fellow travelers with whom you will share this delightful exploration of New England at a welcome reception and dinner this evening. Tour begins: Omni Parker House Hotel at 6:30 PM.

Day 2 - The Cradle of American Liberty
American finds its roots in beautiful Boston. Explore the rich history of the area as you view some of its most famous sites, such as the Old North Church, South Meeting House, and the common where Washington took command of the Continental Army. See two of Americans oldest and most venerable institutions of higher learning, Harvard University and its sister school, Radcliffe College.

Day 3 - Revolutionary Sights
Trace Paul Revere’s route as he rode through Lexington and Concorde to warn the citizenry that the British were coming. Although it may be best known for its infamous witches, Salem’s Federal-Era townhouses and beautifully preserved pre-1900 residences are impressive. Continue on to Portsmouth, first settled by Europeans in the 17th century.

Day 4 - From the Sea to the Mountains
While sightseeing in lovely seaside Kennebunkport, Maine, view the summer home of former President George H. W. Bush at Walker Point. Climb into New Hampshire’s scenic White Mountains and enjoy a most interesting presentation on the northern New England’s seasonal ecology this evening. Most other New England tours don’t offer this opportunity to better understand the natural glories of the region.

Day 5 -Mountain Magic
Exploring the splendor of the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the beauty of Franconia Notch, and Vermont’s famous Green Mountains is a highlight of all New England tours. Pay a visit to another of America’s oldest and most respected institutions of higher learning, Dartmouth College, in Hanover, NH

Day 6 - Woodstock and Calvin Coolidge
With its quaint covered bridge, Woodstock is a quintessential Vermont village. The Billings Farm and Museum provides insights into life in rural Vermont, past and present. In Plymouth, visit the birthplace of Calvin Coolidge, and see the historic buildings constructed by his father in 1890.

Day 7 - The Beautiful Berkshires and Norman Rockwell
In charming Stockbridge, enjoy an in-depth look at the life and the immense talent of beloved illustrator, Norman Rockwell, and view many of his famous Saturday Evening Post covers at the Norman Rockwell Museum. You’ll discover for yourself why the rolling beauty of the Berkshire hills provides such inspiration to artists and writers as you continue on to Williamstown for a one-night stay.

Day 8 - Journey Home
Return to Boston today via the Connecticut River’s scenic Pioneer Valley. Tour ends: Boston’s Logan Airport at approximately 3:00 PM or at the Omni Parker House Hotel at 4:00 PM. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey home. Allow at least two hours for airport check-in.

*Although all sightseeing is the same, some tours trace the reverse route from Boston. On those departures, accommodations are at the Williams Inn in Williamstown, MA, on night 3 and at the Morey Inn in Fairlee, VT, on nights 4 and 5.
