Quaint cobbled streets, a concentration of historic sites (and pubs), a fine selection of museums and proximity to major universities (and rural retreats) make Boston the destination of choice for those after culture, class and clam chowder.
Old Fall River Road is an easy crawl up through Rocky Mountain National Park, but the ease of the drive doesn't lessen how spectacular it is. Drive from the Estes Park entrance through thick trees and then thinned trees as you climb higher, past the timber-line. Ride along the shelf and enjoy the amazing views before the road ends in the Alpine Visitor Center parking lot at the top of Fall River Pass. If you're not in a rush, watch for turnouts near the river and for a couple of excellent hiking trails that spur off the road.
