Description

From fine art recreations of the famed Pilgrim landing on Plymouth Rock to portraits, patents, and period furnishings, the Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth has as its focus the material possessions of America's Pilgrims. Also on show in this history museum's galleries are a selection of Native American artifacts, basic household items (like the razor and case of Myles Standish), old armor and to put it all in context, the goods brought by immigrants in later centuries. The museums plays host to educational programs geared towards school-age children and also has a collection of historic documents accessible to researchers.
